Re: bilge pump

Al, I had the same thing going on with a livewell pump last week. Kept blowing fuses, so I replaced it.

I highly recommend the cartridge style Mayfair pumps, mainly because when you have to replace one, all you have to do is some minor wiring, and NO plumbing. I have 4 pumps in my boat (2 livewell intakes and 2 bilge pumps) and they are all 750 GPH Mayfair cartridge pumps. I carry a spare in the boat, and can replace any one of those 4 because they are all the same.
